PRIVACY POLICY
Last Updated: June 1, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is handled in connection with your use of the website smartesthumanever.com (the “Site”). By using or visiting the Site, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Site.
1. NO DIRECT DATA COLLECTION BY US
1.1 We do not directly collect or store any personal information. Any information you provide (such as name, shipping address, payment details, or email) is collected and stored by third-party service providers (WordPress/WooCommerce, Stripe, Printify) and not by us. We do not maintain any separate customer database on our servers.
2. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS
2.1 WordPress & WooCommerce
• The Site is built on WordPress and uses WooCommerce for e-commerce functionality. When you place an order, WooCommerce collects your name, shipping address, billing address, email address, and any other details required for order processing. That data is stored within WooCommerce’s databases under the hosting environment provided by our web host.
• We do not access or extract any personal information from WooCommerce beyond what is necessary to manage orders via the default admin interface.
2.2 Stripe (Payment Processing)
• All payment transactions are processed through Stripe. At checkout, payment-related information (credit/debit card number, expiration date, CVV) is transmitted directly to Stripe via a secure connection. We do not see or store your full payment card details. Stripe issues us a token for each transaction, which we use only to record that payment was completed.
• Any questions about how Stripe handles or stores your payment data should be directed to Stripe’s Privacy Policy: https://stripe.com/privacy.
2.3 Printify (Order Fulfillment)
• Once you place an order, your name, shipping address, and order details are shared with Printify so that they can produce and ship your custom-designed shirt. Printify collects and retains your personal information only to fulfill your order.
• We do not extract or store any of your personal data from Printify. Any concerns about Printify’s data practices should be directed to Printify’s Privacy Policy: https://printify.com/privacy-policy/.
3. COOKIES & AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED INFORMATION
3.1 Cookies—WordPress/WooCommerce
• WordPress and WooCommerce utilize essential cookies necessary for basic Site functions (e.g., maintaining your shopping cart session). These cookies are set and managed by the WordPress and WooCommerce platforms.
3.2 Analytics & Tracking
• We do not run any analytics or tracking scripts besides those that come by default with WordPress/WooCommerce (for example, basic admin-dashboard analytics). We do not install Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking tools.
3.3 Automatically Collected Data
• When you visit the Site, the hosting server may log your IP address, browser type, operating system, and pages visited for security and stability purposes. This data is collected and stored by our hosting provider; we do not directly access or store it.
4. HOW TO REVIEW OR DELETE YOUR DATA
4.1 WooCommerce Orders
• If you wish to review, correct, or delete your order information, contact our Site administrator via email at [email protected]. We will forward your request to our hosting provider and to WooCommerce support as necessary. Please note that we cannot delete data required by law for tax or record-keeping purposes.
4.2 Stripe Payment Records
• If you have questions about your payment record, you may log into your Stripe account (if you have one) or contact Stripe customer support. We do not have access to your full payment information.
4.3 Printify Fulfillment Data
• If you need to address or delete information held by Printify, please contact Printify’s support team directly. We can assist in relaying your request but do not control their data retention.
5. COMMUNICATIONS
5.1 Order-Related Emails
• We (through WooCommerce and Stripe) send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and other transactional emails. These messages are generated automatically by the platform and contain only the information necessary to confirm or update you about your purchase.
5.2 Promotional Communications
• We do not send any marketing or promotional emails. If you receive promotional content claiming to be from us, please verify its origin by reviewing the sender’s address or contacting us at [email protected].
6. SECURITY
6.1 Data Transmission
• All data you submit via the Site is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Payment information is sent directly to Stripe via their secure interface.
6.2 Platform Security
• WordPress, WooCommerce, Stripe, and Printify each maintain their own security measures, firewalls, and encryption protocols to protect your personal information. Any questions about those measures should be directed to the respective provider’s security documentation or support channels.
6.3 Breach Notification
• In the event of a security breach involving our hosting environment or platform, we will endeavor to notify affected users at the email address you provided during order placement. Notification will occur as soon as reasonably possible after we become aware of the breach.
7. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
7.1 Users Must Be 18 or Older
• This Site is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us at [email protected] so that we can delete it promptly.
8. INTERNATIONAL VISITORS
8.1 U.S.-Only Sales
• We currently ship only to U.S. addresses. If you visit from outside the U.S., you may still browse the Site, but any orders placed from outside the U.S. will be canceled.
• If you are located outside the United States, you acknowledge and agree that your data (name, address, payment token) will be transferred to servers in the United States for processing by WooCommerce, Stripe, and Printify.
8.2 Data Protection Laws
• Because we do not store personal data directly, we rely on our third-party providers (WooCommerce, Stripe, Printify) to comply with applicable international data protection laws (e.g., GDPR). If you have specific questions about how these providers handle EU or other international user data, please review their privacy policies or contact them directly.
9. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA)
9.1 Your CCPA Rights
• If you are a California resident, you have the right to request:
(a) Disclosure of the categories of personal information collected about you and the third parties with whom we share that information;
(b) Deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (for example, if it is necessary to complete a transaction you requested); and
(c) Information about the categories of personal data sold or shared and the recipients of that data.
9.2 How to Submit a CCPA Request
• To exercise these rights, please email us at [email protected] with “CCPA Request” in the subject line. We will process your request in accordance with CCPA response timelines. Note that because we do not directly collect or store personal data, our role is limited to forwarding your request to our third-party providers (WooCommerce, Stripe, Printify).
9.3 Sale of Personal Information
• We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party.
10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
10.1 Updates
• We may update this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a revised version on the Site with a new “Last Updated” date. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (to the address on file in WooCommerce) or by posting a prominent notice on the Site.
10.2 Your Continued Use
• Your continued use of the Site after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
11. CONTACT INFORMATION
